The Champagne & Chocolate Member Showcase will feature 24 artists with more than 100 works being displayed. The artwork in this exhibition displays the diversity of our member artists in both skill and media, ranging from woodworking to painting. This exhibition was curated by Diane Salamon.

Curator's Statement:
Not many exhibits can claim to have works that are thought-provoking, fresh, hopeful, playful, fun, and spiritual. This year’s Champagne and Chocolate entries provided all of these emotions.
Many of the works submitted were not only introspective but also made important statements about life today. There were a variety of styles, media, and subject matter entered which has resulted in an eclectic exhibit. Every entry made me pause and contemplate. As always, Living Arts did not attract predictable work.
An unexpected surprise is almost all the artists are new to the Tulsa art scene, which makes the show exciting to view. This is work by artists we have not seen before and is a good complement to Honorary Artist, Connie Segall, whose work has not been exhibited in many years. The works make the exhibit a visual delight and will definitely be “art that makes you talk”.
To those of you who were not selected this time, please submit again. Art is a journey. Please continue your journey. Practice, improve and submit again. I look forward to seeing your future work.
It was a great honor to be selected as this year’s curator.
