EYE 4 EYE SUBMISSION INFORMATION
CURATOR
The curator for Eye 4 Eye is Walt Kosty, a Tulsa installation artist, spoken word artist and contemporary arts advocate. Walt has been instrumental in many of Living Arts’ programs and is an outspoken advocate of mixing politics with the arts.
MEDIA
Works in all media are eligible, but emphasis will be on presenting personal viewpoints on the subject of capital punishment.
ELIGIBILITY
This exhibit is open to all artists worldwide, however, Living Arts is limited on the budget for this exhibit and so many artists will be required to pay for their own freight costs.
LIABILITY
Each artist is responsible for carrying insurance on his/her work during travel to and from Living ArtSpace. However, Living Arts will insure the work while at the space.
SALES
Living Arts will retain a 30% commission from all sales.
ENTRY PROCEDURE
Artworks will be accepted by .jpg images or .mpg video images only and must be emailed to Walt Kosty, walt@nema7.com no later than January 1, 2012. Sound works must provide headphones.
NOTIFICATION
Each artist will be contacted by email concerning acceptance of his/her work for the exhibition.
DELIVERY OF ACCEPTED WORK
Artworks that are accepted by the Curator, must arrive at Living ArtSpace no later than January 27, 2012. They may be hand delivered or shipped. However if shipped, the artist must provide costs for returning the work.
