Stop Motion Animation Class
Begins Sept 29 – Dec 8, Thursdays from 5:00-6:30pm
This is a fun class which teaches students the techniques of stop-motion animation, while encouraging creativity in thinking about the visual and/or story aspects of an animation film.
What is to be taught:
- Stop-motion animation techiques
- How to make an image that is movable (clay, drawings, photo cutouts)
- How to set up the environment for the animation piece
- Study of how things move. i.e. : a walking person
- Coming up with ideas for an animation film- emphasis on: Story? Visual?
- How to set up a story board for a film
- How to film stop-motion animation
- How to edit what has been filmed on the Casablanca video editing machine.
The class is $50. For 8 weeks with additional time for open studio.

Photographing Your ArtWork Workshop
ONE DAY ONLY
Bob Hawks has been the photographer that many Tulsa area artists have used to make their artwork really look as good as the work IS.
Now, Bob will be conducting a workshop on teaching you his techniques on making your work look good. Bring your Camera and your Artwork and learn about lighting, backgrounds, metering the light and other requirements to take great images of your artwork, both 2D and 3D. No real large pieces, please.!
