THE ART OF PLAY: HAPPENING #5
Social/Learn/Play Experience for Adults  5-7pm Experience for Adults  Theme is New Dance – led by Tulsa Dance Film Project Director, Jessica Vokoun.

Scientists are discovering more and more how important it is to simply “play” – how it unlocks our creativity when we allow ourselves to “keep open and aware of the urges that motivate” us.  And so with this in mind, Living Arts is holding a “Happening” each month for 8 more months over the next year as a social time for Members of Living Arts to meet each other, enjoy a brief introduction to a new artist who might not be well know to them, and to have an interactive time where you explore the concepts that made this new artist change the way we think about
Art today!

This Happening will be led by dancer and dance film Coordinator Jessica Vokoun and the new artist that will be presented is Merce Cunningham with footage of his amazing work and discussion about what makes contemporary dance different from “modern dance” Don’t miss this important art series! Membership is available online Here  or at each event. And each session is free to Members
