Ms. Hammani is an Algerian- American artist who currently resides in Troy, New York. She tells the story of a woman isolated in the Sahara desert and begins to weave her own universe where she finds that she is not alone. With the integration of chants and projected 3D, Myriam Hammani defines a space between the West and North Africa. She has been teaching electronic filmaking in Morocco with the Youth of Tinjdad during the summers and is planning a multimedia center with the Ait -Assem association of Tinjdad for the year 2004.

Phill Niblock - Looking At  the Movement of People Working - Multi-channeled computer/guitar music with film projection.  Phil Niblock's music and film work are "minimalist" in structure. The music uses the physical principles of "sum and difference tones" and is about "exciting the acoustics of the performance space". He is the founder and director of Intermedia Arts Center in New York City which was founded around the same year as Living Arts - 1969
